Phoenix Spring Showcase exposes Arizona talent

Day one of the 3rd Annual Phoenix Spring Showcase was exciting as this was the first major event in the spring that showcases high school level talent in Arizona. The day was load with junior college coaches and several scouts and local media attended.

Compton Magic wins Sweet 16

April 28, 2010
Compton Magic cruised to an easy victory over PHPS from Northern California in the Championship in Long Beach yesterday.  The Magic was up by 22 points at halftime and built on that lead all the way to the end of the game.  PHPS got to the championship by beating ICAN All Stars in a hard fought battle in the semi-finals.  Compton Magic beat Team Odom led by Norvelle Pelle in the other semi-final.  Belmont Shore and Branch West were upset in the early rounds.
