El Paso, TX – Today is the third and final day of the three day annual tournament in Texas. This is the biggest tournament of the year in El Paso, TX as several media, scouts and a few college coaches were on hand to attend the 193 team tournament.

I spent all day watching the playoffs in the high school division and below are my Day 3 Eye-Catchers.

Mason Zuniga, EP Lightning- The 2012 pg led his team to the championship game, this 5’10 quick all handler can also shoot the ball. One to watch on DII radar, he attends Cathedral HS in El Paso.

T’Alai Joseph, Las Cruces Dons- This 2013 combo guard was active on the floor and has a good feel for the game, Joseph is skilled and can score, he attends Chapin High School in El Paso, TX.

Jordan Zamudio, Las Cruces Done- At 5’10 displayed a nice shooting touch from outside, more better fit for being a shooting guard and can score on the break, the dons have kid that can knock down shots.

Enrique Borroel, EP Lightning- This 6’4 2012 prospect at Riverside HS in El Paso plays much bigger than listed, rebounds well, gets in good position on the floor, boxes out and runs the floor well, any NAIA or JUCO should be all over him.

Will Goff, Thunderbirds- Goff is a 6’2 knocked down a game winner this weekend and was a complete player on both ends of the floor, solid fundamentally sound athlete, attends Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ in the Class of 2014.

Diego Magana, Thunderbirds- Played well during the tournament and can handle the ball at every guard positions on the floor at 6’4, another Desert Mountain HS prospect in 2013.

Daniel Amigo, T-Birds- Amigo is listed at 6’9 and attends Coronado HS in El Paso. The 2012 prospect runs well and is still raw but does things well in the paint.

Ruben Macias, Latinos Select- This 2014 combo guard gets the offense going and is an in your face defender, tough kid who has a chance.

Ivan Baker, Titans- The 5’10 guard in 2012 made a few nice plays and is one to watch.

Edgar Sarmiento, Team Zona- Does a lot of things well on offense and can pass the ball well in transition and has a nice touch from 15 feet. The 5’10 2013 prospect attends Sierra Linda HS in Phoenix, AZ.

Tre Anthony Guerrero, Midland Warriors- Defense well and moves well without the ball, has good handles and at gets to the basket. Attends Midland Lee HS in the Class of 2014.
