SCHEDULE – PHOENIX FALL SHOWCASE
Mesa, AZ – Welcome to Chad Groth’s 7th Annual Phoenix Fall Showcase held on Saturday October 20 at Mesa High School.
This ONE (1) day showcase will feature 26 games and over 240 players that will be showcased, just one week before the 2012-13 High School basketball season.
We welcome this year Gamepoint (San Diego, CA) and Gamepoint Red (San Diego, CA), Gamepoint red was formerly Team Jennings a sponsored team by NBA player Brandon Jennings, now merged with Gamepoint and Charlie Mercado of North Country Hoops & Scouting (www.nchoops.net).
Also Team Next Level from El Paso (TX) and Gila River from the reservation. Flagstaff Hoops will bring a very competitive team to the valley and great games will be played on Saturday, I can’t wait!
Other teams in the showcase include AZ All Stars, Brian Sach’s Jump Athletic young and good team, Mingus from up North a couple hours away as well as the city of Tucson coming to the valley, Brian Peabody’s Tucson Heat & Tucson Pump & Run.
We can’t leave out the Tucson Spartans & Marvin Beckwith who has young prospect Cameron Miller the son of University of Arizona head coach Sean Miller playing on Saturday.
Bryce Cotton played in the Phoenix Fall Showcase
Planet Athlete is a new program coached by former NBA and Harlem Globetrotter player Nick Sheppard and they have some exciting prospects, don’t miss the Arizona Rebels Elite coached by Lucas Ramirez.
Terrell Stoglin played in the Phoenix Fall Showcase
One scout in the building will be Jeff Meadows of Hoops Report and Jose Morales of Junior Hoops covering Arizona basketball and helping youth thru athletics in the valley. Special stop over will be the top University of Arizona site Pointguardu.com and of course Area Codes Basketball, the only and Top site in Arizona for youth basketball in promoting sttudent-athletes to college coaches at all levels and no affiliated with any aau team.
