Several prospects made a name on the court. Each player of the 97 players participated from the San Diego area, in two showcase games, let’s look at the top prospects.
Jeff Van Dyke (La Costa Canyon) – The 6 foot 3 2013 shooting guard was hitting from deep in both games, his play will be effective as he has committed to play at Pepperdine University.
Brandon Rosser (Temecula Valley) – This long and bouncy 6’8 2013 wing showed in flashes he can play anywhere. Rosser can finish and has a nice mid range pull up in transition or off the dribble.
Devin Watson (Army Navy Academy) – Watson is a strong floor leader and passes well. The 6 foot 1 PG can score as well and should be a DI prospect in 2014.
Terrell Fuller (Rancho Christian) – The long and thin 6 foot 8 2014 wing has upside and should develop with potential to be very good, moves well and rebounds.
Chad Morrison (El Camino) – Morrison really has shooting range and good size for a shooting guard at 6 foot 4. The 2014 prospect has good upside and defends.
Ali Movarati (The Rock) – Ali is 7 foot 1 and can rebound but has limited skills offensively. The 2013 center is a project that some may want to see.
