Report on Arizona Super 80 Battle of The Classes
The Arizona Super 80 Battle of the Classes was held Friday October 12 at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix under the direction of legendary scout Chad Groth. Eighty players participated. Here is a report on the event highlighting the prospects who made an impression.
Top Prospects:
6’0 PG/SG Jake Reuter of Seton Catholic Prep 2016
Reuter is a competitive combo guard who plays with an attack mentality. He handles it well and is a real good passer who makes a lot of plays in transition and finishes well.
6’4 SF Famoun Miller of Central HS 2015
Miller was arguably the top underclassman at the event. He showed a nice all-around skill set. He has the ability to handle and pass it, shoots it ok and is a solid rebounder. But his best asset is his ability to drive the ball to the basket. He can break down defenders on a consistent basis and finish strongly, both in transition and in the half court. Put him on the radar for mid majors in 2015!

6’4 SF D’Quan Crockett of El Dorado HS, NV 2015
Crockett is an athletic wing who can score in a number of ways. He shows the ability to pull up in the half court, is a decent shooter and a solid driver. He also can make plays in transition.

Johnson was one of the sleepers in the event and he made a good impression. He is a very adept ball handler who is very effective in transition. He sees the floor well and does a nice job getting the ball to the open man. He also shoots it well with three-point range. Put him on the low major radar.
6’1 SG Pearson Weaver of Fairfax HS 2016
Weaver is a real athletic two guard who runs the floor very well. He can handle it and make some plays in transition. His strength is his ability to drive the ball to the basket.
