Chris Miller verbals to Northern Arizona
Phoenix, AZ – The 2013 talent is so heavy that Northern Arizona University head coach Jack Murphy made an offer to one of the sleepers in the class before he got out of Arizona.
Chris Miller the 6’3 combo guard gave a verbal to Northern Arizona on Friday October 21.
Miller plays at Greenway High School in Phoenix, Arizona and is athletic, can score from mid-range and has good character.
That’s what it will take to be apart of a winning team in Flagstaff as NAU will try to get to the NCAA tournament this year and for as long as Murphy is head coach.
Miller averaged as a junior 20.7 points per game and 5 rebounds according to Maxpreps.com, and on a team that finished 13-8 last season. Hopefully Miller can help turn up the punch and get to the State Tournament as a senior.
Playing AAU basketball for Sal Garcia and Team Zona he was able to showcase his skills in front of college coaches in July. Miller was one of Area Codes Basketball’s Top 2013 DI prospects that were available.
