Area Codes Basketball will host the 2nd Annual Coaches Clinic on Friday September 28 at Phoenix College. The list of coaches speaking will be announced shortly. This clinic will be Free to all High School, Middle School, College, AAU and club coaches.
Arizona State assistant coach Scott Pera left for PENN to be an assistant coach under Jerome Allen. I endorse as my choice would be former Northern Arizona head coach Mike Adras. Adras was close to joining a few programs but opted to wait. Adras has experience and knows how to coach and would fit in good with Herb Sendek and his style of play. Adras has strong ties to the West Coast and long time relationships with aau, high school and JUCO coaches, Adras is selling his house in Flagstaff, AZ and will land somewhere soon.
Jessie Evans a former head coach at Louisiana Lafayette ans San Francisco has landed as associate head coach at Southeast Missouri under current head coach and future College Basketball Hall of Famer Dickey Nutt. Evans assisted Lute Olson for nine years and helped the Arizona Wildcats win the 1997 national championship. Evans recruited some of Arizona’s top players like Mike Bibby, Jason Terry, Damon Stoudamire, Sean Elliott, Sean Rooks and Richard Jefferson.

Jase Coburn the assistant coach at Howard College (TX) has his name flying around a couple division I jobs as an assistant coach. Coburn coached at McClintock High School in Tempe, AZ back in 2011. In his second year at Howard College has proven he can recruit and coach.
