FCP and PANGOS Fall Hoop Events

Long Beach, CA – With the Fall rapidly approaching, this is a good time to alert media/scouts and non-D-I college coaches to the Fall 2012 line-up of Fullcourt Press/Pangos events.

While not all event details have been fully finalized, below is the current info related to the ones (post-Labor Day weekend) listed:

** Fullcourt Press Fall Showcase
Sunday September 9th @ Dominguez HS (Compton CA)

This popular fall individual event features most of SoCal’s talent in the 8th through 12 grades. Top players expected to play in the event this year include seniors Isaac Hamilton, Eric Cooper, Jordan Bell, Roschon Prince, Jahmel Taylor, Chance Murray, Brandon Randolph, Payton Banks, Kyle Benton, juniors Stanley Johnson, Daniel Hamilton, Shaqquan Aaron, Bear Henderson, Namon Wright, Isaiah Bailey, Robert Cartwright, Devin Burleson, BB Beard, Christopher Sandifer, sophomores Tyler Dorsey, Broderick Jones, Nicholas Pete, Latrelle Franklin, Sedrick Barefield, Nick Pallas, Lorne Currie, Cameron High, Kahlil Simplis and Malik Anderson and freshmen Derryck Thornton, Vance Jackson, Daron Henson and Devearl Ramsey.

** Fullcourt Press Fall Hoops Classic
Saturday – Sunday September 15-16 @ site TBA (Los Angeles CA)
The 20th edition of this event will consist of a 16 team invitation-only field.  Teams invited to participate include Belmont Shore, Compton Magic Elite, Branch West Elite, Las Vegas Orange, Team Superstar, Las Vegas Prospets, Utah Hoops, Belmont Shore Gold, Arizona Magic – Mullins,
Belmont Shore Gold, LA Rockfish, Prodigy Elite, Gamepoint Black 17, CBC and Pangos Silver Lions. Last year’s event included the nation’s #1 player Shabazz Muhammad (Bishop Gorman/Las Vegas NV/UCLA).

** Fullcourt Press Las Vegas Fall Showcase
Wednesday September 19 @ Bishop Gorman HS (Las Vegas NV)
This popular fall individual event features Sin City’s top talent in the 9th through 12 grades and has in past years attracted national scouts like Evan Daniels, Eric Bossi, Rob Harrington and Patrick Stanwood. Top players expected to play in the event this year include Christian Wood, Patson Siame, Marcus & Malcolm Allen, Julian Jacobs, Shaquille Carr, Rashad Muhammad, Noah Robotham, Sir Washington, Daniel Young, Stephen Zimmerman and Chase Jeter.
** Fullcourt Press All-Frosh/Soph Camp
Saturday – Sunday September 29-30 @ Players Edge (Corona CA)

This always loaded camp will again showcase much of the West Coast’s top young talent. Last year Stanley Johnson, Daniel Hamilton, Tyler Dorsey, Marcus LoVett, Shaquille Carr, Elston Jones, Stephen Zimmerman, Chris Sandifer, Namon Wright and Bear Henderson stole the show. Future NBA/college stars to make their mark here include Arron Afflalo (UCLA/Denver Nuggets), Gabe Pruitt (USC/Boston Celtics), Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks), DeMar DeRozan (USC/Toronto Raptors), Jerryd Bayless (Arizona/Toronto Raptors), Jrue Holiday (UCLA/Philadelphia 76′ers), Landry Fields (Stanford/New York Knicks), Daniel Orton (Kentucky/Orlando Magic), Jordan Hamilton (Texas/Denver Nuggets), Darius Morris (Michigan/Los Angeles Lakers), Jeremy Tyler (Golden State Warriors), Jamal Boykin (Duke/Cal), David & Travis Wear (North Carolina/UCLA), Allen Crabbe (Cal), Anthony Brown (Stanford), Tyler Lamb (UCLA), Joe Jackson (Memphis), Grant Jerrett (Arizona) and Gabe York (Arizona).

** Pangos All-South Frosh/Soph Camp
Saturday – Sunday October 6-7 @ site TBA (Dallas TX)
This always loaded camp is moving from Atlanta to Dallas and will again showcase much of the South’s top young talent. Heralded prep players making statements with their play here include Derrick Favors (Georgia Tech/Utah Jazz), Quincy Miller (Baylor/Denver Nuggets), Lorenzo Brown (NC State), Leslie McDonald (North Carolina), Ari Stewart (Wake Forest/USC), Mfon Udofia (Georgia Tech), Trae Golden (Tennessee), Glen Rice Jr. (Georgia Tech), Manny Atkins (Virginia Tech), Torrin Walker (Oklahoma State), Jalen Kendrick (Memphis/Mississippi), Mychal Parker (Maryland), Richard Howell (NC State), Ian Miller (Florida State), Quddus Bello (Baylor), Michael Gbinije (Duke), Kevin Ware (Louisville), Tyler Lewis (NC State), Justin Anderson (Virginia), Jordan Adams (UCLA), Gavin Ware (Mississippi State), Damien Wilson (Memphis), Tony Parker (UCLA), Charles Mitchell (Maryland) and Devonte Pollard (Alabama).

** Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp
Saturday – Sunday October 20-21 @ site TBA (Chicago IL)
Top national prospects that have showcased their skills here include Marquis Teague (Kentucky/Chicago Bulls), Brandon Dawson (Michigan State), Ryan Boatwright (UConn), Stephen VanTreese (Louisville), Tracy Abrams (Illinois), Kelsey Barlow (Purdue), Dominique Ferguson (Florida International), Justin Martin (Xavier), George Marshall (Wisconsin), Travis Carroll (Purdue), Elgin Cook (Iowa State), Michael Chandler (Central Florida), Nino Williams (Kansas State), DJ Byrd (Purdue), Stevie Taylor (Miami OH), Kevin “Yogi” Ferrell (Indiana), Chris Harrison-Docks (Butler), Kevon Looney and Kendrick Nunn.

** Pangos All-East Frosh/Soph Camp
Saturday – Sunday October 27-28 @ RiverWinds Center (West Deptford NJ)
Nationally ranked prospects to standout here include Kyle Anderson (UCLA), Savon Goodman (UNLV), Omar Calhoun (UConn), Daquan Cook (UNLV), Sidiki Johnson (Arizona/Providence), Myles Mack (Rutgers), Jaren Sina (Northwestern verbal), Aquille Carr (Seton Hall verbal), Jaquan Newton, Rodney Bullock and Horace Spencer.

** Fullcourt Press Northern Exposure Camp
Saturday – Sunday November 3-4 @ Calgary Canada
This Western Canadian camp will again feature several sleepers like camp alumni Braeden Anderson (Fresno State), Devon Bookert (Florida State), Kyle Bailey (San Diego verbal) and Joe DeCiman (Colorado State) .
