Pro City in Las Vegas expects NBA talent
Las Vegas, NV – The Desert Reign Pro City Summer League directed by Bjorn Berg will tip-off June 19th at 6:30pm at Durango High School (7100 W. Dewey Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89113).
Top College basketball players from Las Vegas including UNLV’s own Anthony Marshall, Demetris Morant and Justin Hawkins will be playing in the league as well as other local stars Shabazz Muhammad (UCLA), Hank Thorns (TCU) and Heiden Ratner (James Madison University) will also participate per Berg.
“I hope CJ Watson will play a game, growing up in Las Vegas it would be good for the community, I think he had surgery so maybe he will show support. This is free for the community”, said Berg.
Several scouting and media services will cover this event like West Coast Hoops Report, Area Codes Basketball and Vegas Hoops Report.
CJ Watson can’t play due to injury but maybe he will stop by the ProCity Summer League
This is the inaugural season of The Desert Reign Pro City Summer Basketball League featuring four teams of college and professional basketball players including Anthony Marshall (Mojave High School Grad), Shabazz Muhammad (Bishop Gorman Grad), Demetris Morant (Bishop Gorman Grad), Hank Thorns (Valley High School Grad), Heiden Ratner (Silverado High School Grad), Ben Carter (Bishop Gorman Grad), Rosco Allen (Bishop Gorman Grad), Kentrell Washington (Clark High School Grad), Darington Hobson (Western High School Grad), Marcus Falley (Durango High School Grad), Justin Hawkins, David Bell, David Michaels (Valley High School Grad), as well as many others.
There will be no charge for fans for this event and everyone is welcome to come and watch this competitive league.
The Purpose of this league is to provide our local players with quality competition in a safe community atmosphere.
Rosco Allen is on the roster to play in the Desert Reign Pro City Summer League
League play will start June 19th to July 10th (June 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, July 2, 3 and 10). Games times are 6:30pm and 8:00pm.
