El Paso, TX – The Battle @ Border featured 193 teams over the weekend and one player dominated the post and scored under the basket quite a few times. This player was Latinos Select forward Eric Vega.

Eric Vega took home the tournaments MVP by helping his team in a 51-47 win over the EP Lightning in the championship game on Sunday night at Del Valle High School. Vega averaged 15 points and 13 rebounds a game during the tournament as Latinos Select went undefeated with a 5-0 record.

Vega, a senior is listed at 6 foot 7 and 220 pounds is not really hearing from any college coaches but soon that will change. Vega attended Faith Academy in El Paso, TX.
